Booya!

For size referance, thats a 20.1" wide screen LCD. Dont use the Baldurs Gate II box for referance. Thats a display box I got from working at Interplay.

Nobody's gonna accuse me of pirating IL2 with all those boxes! Heck, I even got the Russian version!

Here is a little somethin somethin for the Luftwaffe fanboys. Proof that a single MG151/20 round CANT bring down a P-38.

See! Still hangin in! 8lb test did the trick.

Its a start, and I think an end to my collection. 1:18 scale is just a little bit too big for a collection, and any 1:32 or 1:24 scale jobs just wont look right in the same area. This one cost me a pritty penny, but worth every time I think! The landing gears even retract!

Its a "toy" replica I got at March AFB this weekend. There are a few modeling innaccuracies, but it looks very sweet and had a lot of details.

Ah, but it also proves that a wooden shelf could climb better than a P-38 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

8lb test is a little whimpy Gibbage. That model looks expensive, I'd go at least 14#.

I have the 8lb test holding it in 3 places so its distributing the weight. The tail is not much, but I have 1 each around the engine. So the bulk of the weight is carried by two, with a 3rd supporting it. The model is all plastic and not very heavy. Im guessing its about 5lb.

You think I want to give that info out? Lol Think again. CWOS is the Anti-Ubi. No need to bring the Ubi too CWOS!

What game is that in the red box (top right), it looks like an IL2 or fB splashscreen. I don't recognise the box.

Dang Gibbage ... I saw this at POF three weeks ago. Christ, I couldn't decide between the P-38 or their Corsair. Their Undertaker looked very nice too. In the end I couldn't resist the folding wings. With its size that came in handy and the fact that it was a few dinero cheaper didn't hurt. Still, seeing your shots made me wished I could have afforded both!

21 Century makes a sweet line of 1:18th models. Corgi's 1:32 die-cast are also really nice.

Great room Gib, how olds your kid?
I'd have died for a setup like that, how old, 14, 15 from the looks of the layout?

edit: sorry, dude, I just re-read the thread, didnt realize it was an adults room
