View Full Version : So many things

Have had a tough year. Two dear friends and my son passed away, and my other son was not making the best decisions. He stole my credit cards, and just got out of a 20 day lock up for unpaid traffic tickets. This has taken a huge toll on me.

I've had this game Pacific Fighters now for almost a year, and had gotten pretty decent with CSF2 prior to PF.

I love WWII aviation, and would like to get back into things with PF.

With all that has come at me, am so stressed.

Would be so grateful if someone out there could help get me up an running.

If so, write me at terrenceflynn2001@yahoo.com.

Thank you,

Bearcat's essentials links.

Take your time with it mate. Don't be frightened to ask if you want any more info. Some good people here. I think Bearcat's links will give you plenty to look at and play with for a while though!

This sim is a great diversion from real life. If you have time, you might want to join a squad and "fly" with the same mates regularly. Playing this game with others is great fun and great company.

Go over to the Squadron forum and see who is recruiting. I recommend that ypo look for a relaxed group to "fly" with.

Sorry for your loss, and trials.

If you haven't played PF yet its much more sophisticated than CFS2 which I also enjoyed. Its a different and higher level of immersion. A great hobby/fantasy and community. Its the only piece of software that motivated me to spend an additional $1000 or so on PC components and flight sim accessories. I haven't regretted it and am looking forward to the Battle of Britain in 07.

Don't be a stranger.

Sorry for your terrible losses, Terry.

I`ve not had it as bad (though I`ve seen my fair share), but I know how it must feel. It saps the strength and will, doesn`t it? And sometimes you wonder if it`ll ever end.

Well, it gets easier to bear, you`ve just got to hang in there, m8.

Set up a map with as many bombers as your PC can handle, pick the biggest aviation cannon you can find, then set 'invincible' http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif
