I thought some of you might enjoy these videos I've come across on the web.
First - This Guys youtube collection (http://uk.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=GDHouston&p=r) A great assortment of varied WW2 documentaries covering many topics not just aviation. He seems to upload a new program every sunday. Well worth subscribing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
Second - American War Eagles: The F4U Corsair (http://www.veoh.com/videos/v313278FFm8NaNW) Hosted on veoh, a 50 minute doc about the Corsair. You'll need to get the veohtv software to watch more than five minutes of it though. The narration is a bit cheesey, but overall it has some great footage and plenty of colour quality guncam stuff. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
Third - American War Eagles: The Republic P47 Thunderbolt (http://www.veoh.com/videos/v313339HwCzjqAa) Again on hosted on veoh, another 50 minute doc, this time about the P47. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif
Fourth - American War Eagles: The Boeing B-29 Super fortress (http://www.veoh.com/videos/v313209spBFgypd) Again on hosted on veoh, 50 minutes of B29 goodness. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif
I was wary of using veoh because of the need to install software to watch more than 5 minutes of a show, I've been using it for a few days now and it seems fine. The software is free, as are the majority of the shows, some are pay to view but I haven't tried any of those yet as there are so many decent free ones. There are loads of varied stuff available on it and the software doesn't have adware or spyware embedded at all. Definately worth a look http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
Anyone else come across any good stuff they subscribe to on youtube or similar?
