I've been to "Aces" once, but before they started using the P.F. software, and not since they moved to "hugedale". It was great, very immersive... I recieved a gift certificate for Christmas which I have yet to use, which is odd 'cause Mall of America is about 10 min. north of my house. Hmmm...maybe this weekend.........

Here is one thing that I saw from the site:

Q. Do your simulators turn upside-down?
A. Not unless we drop them off a cliff. The F/A-18€s roll and pitch 20 degrees, which gives you €œmotion cues€ (cool simulation jargon, eh?) to give you the sensation of flight.

Does that mean the box that you're sitting in rolls 20 degrees, or the aircraft itself, which would be highly unrealistic?

Also, in the ww2 sims, they didn't mention what kind of aircraft you could fly. If the LW, US, and vvs aircraft are avail, does that mean the same flight models apply? For instance, the fw has limited turning radius but increased rolling and dive speeds?

Looks like they are using a Elumens vision station for the screen.

If one was near me, the first opportunity I had I would give it a try. Looks to be a draw for old-timers too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
