Immersive things needed.

1. OIL. Ships should leak black oil and even leave it behind.

2. Ship sirens. We get it in briefing why not on the carriers when it is under attack? Also it would be nice if some of the briefing sounds heard while reading the Brief could be put in the Russian and Luftwaffe Campaign, including the detailed Roster.

3. Some running sailors, as in FB when trucks are attacked. They should be seen when a ship is sunk, simply leaving the ship, instead of sitting at the guns until they drown. Kept brief, it will not cause much slowdown and could be made an option in Config.

4. A little more `life` in offline campaigns. At the moment there is a certain `sterilty` , maybe the blue sea emphasises this feeling. For instance, a little extra speech from your carrier. I know there`s a speech that says, `Fighters are still in the area.` When you ask to land, why is this not used? Alos extra ADDED speech like:

`Our ships are under attack, all fighters return to your carriers` and `Lead Squadron, you are redirected to a new location` altering the waypoint map at the same time.

5. Pilot head slumped as dead/unconscous animation (as in HE111)also needed.

IL2 was a great sim, as is FB+AEP+PF and I REALLY DO APPRECIATE IT, and I do not forget and thank you for what you`ve done in the past. But part of it`s greatness was not just FMs or its great damage models and variety of aircraft but it`s LITTLE TOUCHES. What impressed me when I saw FB for the very first time was hearing the SIRENS on the airfield - Imagine doing the same with Carrier sirens when under attack. Perhaps I`m wrong, maybe Carriers never used Sirens when under attack.

Please consider these things.

Same here... Actually its the little tids & bits that cought my attention in the original IL2 such as damageable cockpit, Only great classic of days past have that (Dynamix caes series).

And... would a re-arming & refueling option is possible?
speaking from "realism" side... That def a must have & speaking from "enjoyable" side... That option WILL def help and add abit more "life"
Thank you,

Willey

This awesome tropical cloud looks like it's growing from the ocean. Well, it basically is, growing into incredible heights. [growing from 1km up to 10km ~ Lexx] In the dark portion to the left it's raining, to the right the weather is fair. This shows how quickly weather can change in the tropics.

Is an LSO still being looked at?
What was done with the landing pipper in HUD view is an excellent touch.
Closed cockpit though needs that little something

Another nice extra would be to have pilots saying things like:

Friendly side:
`They`re Kamikazes! Going for our ships!`

`The Kamikaze hit the carrier!`

`No...She`s sinking... poor B*stards`

And similar for the Enemy side, if their radios work.

These voices would need to activate from ANY flying aircraft near the location when a situation occurs and would add immensely to the desperate situation of Carriers under attack. I hope you understand my meaning.

In fact Oleg perhaps you could just program it so the sound files are there for such situations and we could produce the VOICES ourselves. Some of us have done a good job on this before. Even I`d have a go (only for Brit voices I`m afraid, my US and Japanese would sound rather laughable!) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

p.s The open, close cockpit is a nice immersive touch by the way....

p.ps. As for the Black OIL thing, I meant leave it behind as a black pool when the ship has sunk!

not only in the Tropics, i saw something "similar" over my city this morning. It was like a continuous cloud layer, with a precisely delimitated end, with the sun barely struggling to shine through the cloud, while on the other side it was a clear sky. outstanding sight, btw http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
i have also read pilots accounts on the eastern fron saying how they could barely takeoff because of the weather, but on the other side of the frontline, the weather was just perfect. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
