Hi !
In first I am sorry for my english (It's not my language), but I think you will understand me.But anyway, I want to show you why it will be geat idea to place action of ACIII in USA, (18/19 century). So let's get started.

It's very importand time and place, becouse it was begining of the USA, which is a "super country", and Abstergo is corporation from US, mysteries of object 16 was talking a lot of things about this country.

In USA was borm a lot of conspiracy teories, like Founding Fathers (Templars ?)and influence of Masonery (it could be analogy to Borgia's family)

And very, important characters.Benjamin Franklin could be "new Leonardo", it's worth to think.

In this AC will be spirit of movies like National Tresure or Angels and Demons, which will be great for this game.

Angels and Demons had nothing to do with the US http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah, your thinking of The Lost Symbol.

America doesn't really need another Ego stroke.
Yeah i get it it's a big important country, but it's not the only big and important country.

And i think an 18th century setting would make for a dull AC game.

So Sharrap!!

Define 'super country'. If you're using the definition I think you are, then why not choose Britain during the 18th Century? They were a hell of a lot more 'super' than the US is now... Also, their is no evidence to suggest Abstergo originiated in the US, it could very well be a European-based company with major holdings in the States.

There are a lot more interesting conspiracy theories that come from countries besides the United States.

Why is Benjamin Franklin anymore important than Charles II of England, or Napoleon Boneparte?

As itsamea-mario said, America doesn't need another ego-stroke...

This is probably the least possible theory but I'll just say it...

How about if the 3rd game took place in several different cities across the world?! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Anyway, I recently posted a thread with this idea with a link to a review of this idea... I'll try to find it....

In the modern day?

I'd like that, since nowadays you can get to the other side of the earth in less time than it would take someone to travel to another city in Italy.
