Hello, I'm new to Pacific Fighters, but I do play Lock On: Modern Air Combat, So I am familiar with flight sims. Anyway, when flying the B-25 and in the bomb sight "mode" I put the crosshair over my target, but I never seem to hit my target. So would anybody like to tell me how to aim bombs. (Note: I'm still used to having a computer aim my bombs, so this whole transition from LOMAC to PF will be alittle hard :P)

Youtube tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhIUGccIQd4)
And here is a written one. (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&file=print&kid=240&page=1)

And be sure not to mix your Kilometers/Meters with your Miles/Feet.

Okay, I got all the stuff figured out. But I'm having an issue keeping the aircraft steady, I did what I was told to keep the aircraft steady, and it works but I still list very lazily to the sides at times. I tried to see if auto-pilot could compensate while I was in "bomb-view," but the auto-pilot steered the aircraft everywhere and within a few seconds I was in a stall! :[ any help?

I usually use the level autopilot, and make corrections through using trim http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Okay, thank you guys so much! I can bomb now :P I mean I still make mistakes and need practice, but I can hit my target at least 60% of the time http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

you need to have a hot key for "stabilization" auto pilot wont keep u steady. also for to full positive trim. also dwnld the bombsite 2 calculator. input the info and it will give u the angle at which the bombs will drop AFTER you have locked on your crosshairs. i always adjust the crosshairs but just keep in mind they need to be locked as you approcah the angle of which they will be dropped.

Where can I download this? and what do you mean by locked on the crosshairs? I've been bombing manuelly, so nothing should be "locked on." But anyway, I having been having an issue with my sights angle, how do I know what angle im supposed to point the bomb-sight? I looked it up on the links given to me earlier, but they just say adjust the angle and they dont give me a specific angle. so I still need help http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

The manual bombing angle is constantly changing due to your speed and altitude.

Bombsight Table 2 (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&op=show&kid=337) displays this information.

Also, there should be an automatic bombing tutorial in game, if it would help you visualize the process. It may be labeled under the He111 tutorials, but the bombsight works in the same way as the Norden.

Set a key in controls for "bombsite automation". when u hit the key the crosshairs will lock on to the ground target. at this point the angle indicator will decrease steadily. the bombs will drop automatically. but using the bombsite 2 overlay, u will know what angle the bombs will drop so I always adjust the crosshairs but turning the automation off and then back on.

previious post has a good link for the Table.

you use shft/ctrl and arrows to input your data and then the angle at which your bombs will drop ( or should be dropped manually ) is calculated for you.

:\ filefront must of deleted my videos\stuff i did for bombing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

i input height, speed and line up the target, set the automation going, then adjust the speed setting to keep it tracking the target area correctly
