I don't understand how some people demand the patch now. Demand an update because a few weeks have passed without one. Don't you think that might be a sign that ubi is to busy working on the patch to maybe put together an update each week?
No, I think I do understand why all this demading is going on. It's like a small child pounding his fists and yelling, "i want my patch! i want, i want! gimmie gimmie!"
I think most adults here will agree that compared to other game developers, Maddox has provided good support for his work. And I see no reason why that tradition would change.

We're not demanding a patch, we're demanding communication from UBI. We just put patch in all the titles to make the topic abundantly clear in the low probability off-chance anyone from UBI actually gives enough of a sh!t to come in here and see what's happening, which they don't.

First of all like Dex said, we just want info on what's going on with it. Second of all we all know that the patch was COMPLETED a little more than 2 weeks ago. And are you telling me that Ubi doesn't have enough people to test a patch, and update a site (at least once 2 weeks)?

And here I was thinking Dexmeister had suffered an embolism and had lost the power of reasoned thought.

I agree that some info on the progress of the patch would be welcomed. I was just commenting on some of the more imature posts. After reading them I just wanted to share my own thoughts.

I don't know what countries some of you are from, but in the US we put a high priority on good customer service in terms of how it shapes our decisions as consumers. I bought a game for $45 that has a lot of problems. I can't return it to the store because there are no software returns once a package has been opened. I am willing to work with the maker of this game and be patient so they can fix these problems correctly, but that doesn't mean I am not entitled to updates as a paying customer.

What is really sickening is how many people on this forum don't know what it means to be a demanding consumer. Perhaps you were raised under a communist regime where you were expected to accept whatever product you got? One of the greatest things about a free market is that if a substantial number of consumers get together and demand something then the potential financial fall-out actually forces a company to shape up. If this entire forum was united in demanding some word about the progress in fixing this flawed product from Ubi Soft, then I just about guarantee you would get a response. Instead there are a bunch of corporate apologists who are doing volunteer work for an unresponsive company out of some perverted sense of submission to authority.

PPL who demand updates, are just plain stupid! Why looking at a few screenies? I want the patch much more then a development update!

Have you not heard? The patch was killed in yesterday's riot. They are going to try to clone it from the left over DNA. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Well a development update is better nothing. You want the patch, and did you get it? No, even though it has been completed for a few weeks now.

Good Lord! The things one has to read here. Go sermonize someone else. Whom are you lecturing you smartass? Of all the nonsense I have read here of late in this forum this is the most annoying. You should have more respect, if you understand me.

I think the point can be made more clear by adopting the use of one thread. We want this board to remain useable for those who have patience and have something constructive to contribute, rather than just whine.

Please direct all patch debates to this thread:

Thank you.
