View Full Version : Any P-47 skins/images for Red Tails of the 332nd Tuskagee Airmen? Very hard to find!

That's about it really.

I understand the Red tail came into existance on the P-47, but images are hard to come-by, let alone skins.

P-51's are plentiful, but really after images of the 47's

Any help appreciated, cheers, MP.

Hit the link to our website in my sig.. go to the downloads page..

You might also want to hit this link (http://www.balad.afnews.af.mil/art/index.asp?galleryID=1509&page=1). Those pictures are from the osprey book that i used as a reference for many of my more obscure historic skins. I am going to redo the p-47s.. I think they look more white than metallic.. so I will redo them... but you are welcome to use them.

Thanks for the replay Bearcat. I hit your sig, but can't find a link to any downloads http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I did see the other page (showing the osprey images), but as you can see too, P-47's a rare in their appearance http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Nice site though.

Hopefully some more Redtails will be revealed soon (images that is),

thanks again, MP.

Hey Mysticpuma2003
Like bearcat said before, Aviation Elite Unts

Page 72 #27 and #38

I fogot the name of the guy who posted his website on UBI However here is a link for two of his p-47's from 1st Brazillian FL SQ

Look for #27 and #38
