"Good news everyone!"

The 2nd episode of the Adventures of Auger is being worked on as we speak. But I need some help from you guys.

Like the title says, I'm looking for some good pictures/sites showing what the average japanese pilot wore, not just in the cockpit but on the ground as well.. I've been trying to improve on my drawing methods a little for this one, We'll see where it goes.

But for now, here's a sneak peek.

Here is what I got with the descriptions.


First row... from left to right
1- PO3/c Sadamu Komachi, serving aboard Shokaku in 1941-42 40 victories
2- Lt Yutaka Morioka of the 302nd AD at Atsugi in early 1945 5 victories
3- PO1/c Takeo Tanimizu, serving aboard Junyo in May 1942 32 victories
4- Lt(jg) Sadaaki Akamatsu of the 302nd AG at Atsugi in early 1945 27 victories
5- PO1/c Kaneyoshi Muto of the 12th AG, formerly in China, 1938 35 victories
6- Missing in the post is PO2c Saburo Sakai of the 12th AG at
Nanchang. in southern China, 1939 60+ victories
Second row... from left to right
1- Sgt Satoshi Anabuki, seen at the Akeno Fighter School in
February 1944 51 victories
2- MSgt Masatoshi Masuzawa of the 1st Sentai in his flying
gear as worn during the Nomonhan incident in 1939 15 victories
3- Cpl Susumu Kajinami of the New Guinea-based 68th Sentai
models his lightweight flying suit in late 1943 24 victories
4- Capt Fujitaro Ito of the 5th Sentai prepares to enter his Ki-45
at Kiyosu Airfield, Japan, in March 1945 13+ victories
5- 2Lt Yohei Hinoki of the 64th Sentai in service dress in China
in the spring of 1942 12 victories
6- Missing in the post... WO Makato Ogawa of the 70th Sentai,
based near Tokyo on home defense duties in 1945 9 victories
