Wow! I never imagined how a Type XXI would be from the inside!
This one looks much more modern than the VII.
In the other hand, isn't it smaller?
Are these screens historically accurate, anybody knows how they must look like?

Again........isn't the crew suppost to use the hydraulic "pushbuttons" to control the sub? The controls they are using are backups.....?

I think the U.Kdt.Hdb says something about when to use the buttons and when to use the "all hands" controls.

dude those screen rock! and i,m quite sure they are acurate. there is a surviving type xxi that is open for the public its the u-2540 .

you can search the web for more detailed zentrale pics to compare with sh-3 . but i think the dev team made sure it is like the real thing.

Lanzfeld is correct!

Nice Screens! Nice interior! But the hat of the left guy looks stupid. I hope the Devteam remodels this!

Shhht! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif do not say it so louder! The dev-team may hear you... and maybe they have already implemented this books as a quick access to the map or the captain's log book, that will make some sense. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I have visited the only surviving type VII u-boat in Laboe and type XXI U-2540 in Bremerhaven twice and spent several days exploring them. The interior of the type VII IS ACCURATE AND ROCKS!!! For the interior of the type XXI i would say it is as much as it could be, 95% or so.Believe me this is the the best we could ask.As for the conning tower and the attack periscope the one at Laboe is not accessible to public. So i had to travel all the way to Bavaria studios and check the inside of their u-boat.Unfortunately there was no attack periscope there.(probably removed after the film).Otherwise this u-boat is amazing. You can't tell the difference between this and the real thing http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif I strongly recommend visiting these sites. FANTASTIC!!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
