I'm not to hip on publiclly showing the location of my residence.
I'll give the city, but thats as close as I'll let it get.
I have 1 ex-wife who's schitzophrenic and tried to kill me while I slept, and another who's just vindictive as all get out and will stop at nothing to ruin my life.
I'd rather not give either any information to help pinpoint my location.

11-03-2005, 11:35 AM
Well, put the town of your birth then! Or put down Timbuktu! I doubt it matters that much!

With all due respect
You don't know what the hell you talking about.
1st wife developed schitzophrenia and wasn't in control of her own actions, and ended up institutionalized.
my 2nd decided she just wanted everything, and sold all my stuff while on the road and bought herself a house.
Her reason was I wasn't making enough money to make her happy so I owed it to her.
**** courts let her do it.

so who pissed off whom?

Why would I want to be on Venus if all the men are on Mars http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif.......Besides, why not "split the difference" and go Earth....Like I said, yea, Earth http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

ahhh...love is grand.....the lat time it cost me $98 grand!!

11-04-2005, 09:58 PM
Thats all? 98k?
you got off lucky.

My last one cost me everything, after working 5 jobs to fix a finacial disaster of 100k she caused right after our marriage.
a 365k house. 2 cars, 20k in furniture.
Everything sold behind my back while at work out of town...for her.
come home to find my house gone, my wife living in a new one purchased from friends in the construction business, then shows up in court with fraudulent papers showing her indignent, poor beyond belief, a 400k house built as a "favor" to help her escape a marriage where her husband was never home.

And of course a failed marriage is always the mans fault, and since she had kids and I didn't the courts gave her everything.

To add insult to injury, the day the verdict came down, I was notified that a senior employee was loosing his job, and was bumping me out of my position...All done because he was removed from my job for improprioties and I was moved in.
He heard of my divorce and sued to get my job out of a little known union clause as revenge for getting his when he was removed.
Right after I was dumped into the jobless market, the entire city of New Orleans joined me killing the market.
That was 4 months ago.
I now have 3 weeks left to find a place to live because I can no longer afford to stay where I am.
With no income around here you arn't going to move into anyplace.
So I have 3 choices.
move in with friends who are in the middle of thier own divorce
move back in with my aged parents, one dying of Parkenson's, with no way of paying my way....
or spending the winter living in my car..the most likely possibility, with a 20% chance of surviving the harsh winters here.
30 yrs of hard work, earned possesions and livelyhood all stripped from me in one day.
And before anyone thinks I was to blame for any of this note there was never infidelity, drug, alchohol or physical abuse , and I'd known the woman who I was married to since I was 15 and I'm 45 now.
My only hope is that, since my job was in the Government, and the one who stole my job ran for political office and lost last election, They may find someplace for me instead of the whole mess going public and ruining careers for what looks like protecting thier own at the expense of an innocent party who was given no say in his defence.
I trust noone now and never will again.
Feel lucky all you lost was 98k.
They might as well killed me on the spot for the damage they did.
I have to start over from scratch.
I was a nice guy.

Hey Dew-Claw,

sorry to hear about your troubles. Not comparing troubles or bad luck since the gravity of the situation is measured by the suffering of the beholder, but I've been there and am still there so I can say I feel for you. But there are two things that keep me going.

"You can always find someone worse off."
Although true, it's not always easy, but still true.

"When your at the bottom you can only go up."
This is more about attitude. Consider yourself a free man. Soon you'll be able to enjoy your midlife crisis with a 22 year old blond. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

It will be hard to start over again but you can make it enjoyable. Think of all the things responsibility wouldn't let you do before. 45 is not too old to back pack around one of those countries you've dreamed of.

Consider this YOUR time. Start exercising and doing those things you never had time for.

You don't really have much choice other than to accept what has happened and move on, unless of course you enjoy being miserable. I don't think you do. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Best of luck to you. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Reminds me of Jerry Reed's song "She Got the Goldmine, I Got the Shaft"....

11-05-2005, 03:50 PM
Pirschjaegers advice is very sound!

Also being the "nice guy" may have been your problem. Next time you find a woman, make sure shes not the type that sponges off you. Instead agree to keep your own finances to yourselves. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

What has heppend truly sucks.

Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA, North America, Earth

11-06-2005, 07:24 PM
yup, kinda glad i never got married, but the one i lived with 10 yrs ago caused me so much trouble that im still riding a bicycle most of the time.

Courts (judges) are the most corrupt, sorry, arrogant scum on the earth.....they are out to earn themselves or thier sponsors political capitol, and rule on the law as they would have it be, not as it is. Think about it; we're (usa) supposed to have legislative, executive, and judicial branches of govt. Guess which one is immune from prosecution and liability from any act done in the performance of thier "duties"......hint: it aint the president or the congress, or the legislators or the govenors. They rule this country these days. Hang in there, and may i suggest writing letters to local newspapers in which you embarrass those morons....they hate that. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
