View Full Version : How do you think Ezio's hidden gun works?

In the initial e3 trailer he just ***** it and shoots it but in the florence gameplay he ***** it after he shoots like a sniper rifle would. And if he's running around on rooftops there has to be a certain way of loading the gunpowder so it wouldn't all fall out. I'm just wondering how you guys think it works.

during e3 ubisoft said that they hadn't yet finished the design for the gun and how it would work. so you can't go by what the trailer shows, they just wanted to show you that ezio would have a gun, and now they have finished the gun design, so they showed how the final version works... hope that helped

Im not talking about how it aims but how it loads. And if he's going to be running around that much how does the gunpowder stay in the gun? Usually a flintlock gun needs to stay straight or held upwards so the gunpowder doesn't fall out.

Thats what da vinci is there for. He probably invented a way of making the gun not lose gunpowder

I'm going to comment and question both here.

It's been mentioned a few times that the mechanism looks more like a matchlock than flintlock.

Did they have the same trouble with being tilted down?

i thought match locks used....matches like setting the fuse on fire?

It's probably a breech-loading firearm, Ezio might've been reloading it in the gameplay footage.
