Everytime a new patch comes out I wish for a new flyable, or even a new AI aircraft, but alas there seems to be none available. Don't get me wrong I appreciate whatever additions the patches bring out, but PF seems to becoming more and more of less realistic flight sim with changes to the flight models. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

In new 4.02 patch actually there are two new planes flyable Yak-7B 1942, and P-47D. More info you will find in your root FB/PF folder in 4.02 README.

About FM, well for me it wasn't very hard to adjust to new FM anyway. I think if you were adjusted to 4.01 you can adjust now also.
Check your Input tab under game and select Yaw (you have Pitch Roll and Yaw). For Yaw there are all values set on 100, it is hard (for me it is) to fly that way, I will reccomend that you set it tosome gradual values like 10 20 30 40 etc. instead of 100 100 100 100 etc.
You will get less nose wondering while aiming. Search the forum a bit about issue and also visit airwarfare.com for more suggestions tips etc.

About patches, when I first came to this place and saw a free patch (was for original Sturmo I don't recall version anymore) I thought it was just some small bug fix or something. I was really surpised to see new flyables and other stuff inside.
I never experienced such support with any game, if you did please write the name of that game I will purchase it for sure http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.
I'm not being some blind fan here, just I don't see a reason to not being satisfied with awesome game support -- from my PoV this is rather objective fact.

Well at least IMHO.

There have been several...were you looking for a particular one?

Several are still in the pipeline and will likely appear in an addon patch. Oleg and the mods have posted all the relevant information in a selection of stickies.

Since PF was released, we've seen the addition of two new variants of the Buffalo, flyable Betty, a couple of new maps, several hotrod modifications (Mustang III, P-47 Late, P-38 Late), the Ki-100 (a personal favorite)...I'm probably forgetting something.

You should also read the opening post in this thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/63110913/m/8371080943). It'll give you some idea of what was intended for the current patch, and what's coming in the near(ish) future.

Thanks for the input folks. I'll try resetting the joystick and see if that works. I found the .50 cal MGs quite ineffective now in the game. It's like pelting pebbles at a target now. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

.50s were always IMO less effective when you shoot from dead 6 (small aircraft profile), but once the bandit goes into manoeuver and show profile you can cut him up in two ... well, easily http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

But they are not easy weapon like some cannons in game. Far from it.

ps. I am still searching for ideal joystick sensitivity table for my Cyborg EVO http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

I gave up on my Cyborg Evo and switched back to my old Cyborg 3D due to 4.02 reasons. I am thinking about attatching the stick from the Evo to the old ones base... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
