View Full Version : Why Is The Outside View So Stable ? No "Shaking"

Why is the outside view of the aircraft so stable? The plane is centerd exactly in the center of the screen, with no indication of slight variation of control that causes the plane to bounce about just a little bit. I do believe Lock On models this. The planes seem to be flying on rails.

It only looks that way in that view.. believe me they arent on rails.

I know they are not rails, but I think all the subtle forces acting on the plane should be a no-brainer for inclusion in the outside view. I feel strongly this would ad to the immersion.

It'd be a nice option but it may be disconcerting. I still don't know if I like the effect that LockOn does with that...its neat but I'm not sure about it.

Plus LockOn is new...IL-2 is old. Differences in what is possible and doable now. BoB probably will have it.
