I want to buy a trackir4 here in the portland OR area, but other than ordering it online, I cannot locate a store that has it.

Any assistance?

Online ordering is probably the best way to go. Here in the SW of England I only know of one outlet that carries TIR, and that's maybe the only shop in the UK that specialises in flightsim apparatus! All of the PC World-type shops stick to Logitech and Saitek sticks and MS FS - they don't stock CH or IL2 or TrackIR or anything that's out on the edge like that.

So online is likely your best choice. There are a few discounts out there - you can get 10 or 15% off if you follow the link on the Hyperlobby GUI for example.

Hope that helps

You know they build them down in Corvallis, right?

Got my TIR4 via amazon.com for just under $145, including shipping. It was delivered in less than a week.

Couldn't find it at Frys' down here at the southern border; ordered mine direct from NaturalPoint.com, and had it within the week.

It was worth every penny.

cheers

I live in PDX as well and can not remember ever seeing it in a store around here.
You may need to either take a trip down to Corvallis or order online.

I looked here (Portland OR area) and it isn't sold retail as far as I can tell.

Fire up Hyperlobby and get the $15 off and order it onlinehttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Corvalis eh? Do they have a store you can go in?

I did try fry's, and others, they never heard of it, thought it was a neat idea....

I was wondering about local availability as I didnt want to wait for shipping.

Thanks,

Alex

If you call ahead, and order it, you can pick it up from us directly, without having to wait for us to ship it........

Well NP_Vincent answered your question but if you order it from them they will send it UPS and it will only take one day. I have ordered twice from them and both times, cheap shipping, I got it the next day. I live very near Portland so shouldn't be any diffrence in time. In fact being Im a bit outside you probalby would get it a few hrs faster than I did.

The horse's mouth. Hell, I'd do what Vincent says just to go to the factory and schmooze a bit. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif
