Didnt find either of them that challenging, but the older 1990 PoP games are harder imo http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

but.. most difficult of the trilogy would be Warrior Within for me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

In the trilogy it's WW of course, the others were way too easy http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

WW was difficult and challenged my patience. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

The others were challenging on a different level, but not quite to the point of infuriation. WW on the other hand... *grumbles* Damn camera during Dahaka fights.. How was I supposed to know there's a drop there?!

WW was so difficult and confusing I quited with it without finishing the game... still hesitating about starting again. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif My patience is really low when it comes to games... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Oh s*** I voted and I didn't mean too. I thought the numerical ones for the original Old Skool Trilogy which is by far harder. Take away 1 vote from 1 and 2 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

I say that PoP:WW was the hardest becase there where some timed-limited things to do.... and I hate those http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif.

IMO the hardest was WW since I only found out about backtraking halfway through the game. And still after finding out i went through the same place 3-4 times before finding out where an exit was. Another point was the FFF, I always wanted to do another move and see what it does, but until I pressed the right combination, my life would go down by half. So I just found a move that did the more damage and did that, over and over and over again. I also discovered that while guarding people could hit you, and I was used to SOT where if you were guarding they couldn't touch you.
The other thing that made it more difficult were the dahaka chases. I would just get all stressed out and start running (with the prince) and be glad when it was over.

Those were the things that made it difficult for me.

Definitelly T2T. At hard dufficulty I tried over 20 times to beat the twins....they are the most chalenging of all the trilogy because you have no fixe strategy for them. Second would be the final battle with the Dahaka....I tried a couple of times before I figured out but afterwords it was a piece of cake. All I can say is that I would gladly play WW once again and finish without much struggle, but T2T...I am certain that it would take a handfull of tries before I get pass the twins again...at hard difficulty.

There is a part of Sands of time its when you the prince has no dagger i guess somewhere at 80% of the game, but WW is challenging, but not very difficult.

The hardest was the Dahaka on hard. Not because the actual process is that difficult, his pattern is easy. It's the bugs I ran into while fighting him. That accompanied with the poor camera angles when he was hopping around. I'd be running one way, the camera switches, and the Prince will start running toward the Dahaka. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif Sigh... the hit detection was also horrid!!! Regardless, I finished the game despite the malfunctions during that battle.

Actaully, I agree that PoP: Shadow of Flame (1993) (The original PoP second generation) is the most difficult one.

With the original POP's you don't get a second chance. That's why I feel like the current trilogy isn't that challenging. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif But they are still fun to play since they have great characters and story. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

i voted for WW (last dahaka fight...my controller took a bashing off the wall for that one!!!) but there were some very challenging bits in the others

eg SOT: the elevator fight (damn it farah move!!!!!)

and as the general consensous seems to be going in T2T the twins fight (once again the controller took a fair bashing there too but this time i actually managed to pull out the left analogue stick then got it fixed and then STILL COULDN'T BEAT THE B******S)

1 and 2 , there you must make all things in a smooth perfect way or else you won't save the princess from the hands of evil Jafar
Played 1 and 2 a looong time ago , back when i was a little kid and didn't had a computer , sega was my saviour back then http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Anyway back on topic 2D Prince of Persia are everlasting , i think i'm gonna search for that and play it again , just for old times sake http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

One and two...

*keen memories of playing Prince of Persia with dad on a Mac II*

I started playing when I was six, and I was eight by the time I'd finished it. Very challenging but not in a hair-pulling-furstrating way, that's what makes those games so beautiful http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

There were challanges in each game. In WW there were a few hard challanges, in SOT the elevator fight was pretty hard, and in T2T it took me ages to beat the twins, and beating the Vizier was pretty hard as well.

But I still think the old games were much more difficult. It took me AGES to finish the first game. I kept on dying and had to start over again and all that stuff. SOT, WW and T2T was pretty easy compared to that game.

But in the trilogy, it was WW - without a doubt. Stupid camera angles...

Man, in first trilogy i ended the first POP, but in the second (the shadow and the flame) I didn't got so far, and the save system was pretty bad and very limited time
