Now that's a collection!

I remember handing over my pocket money for CFS when I was 12 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif . I should fire it up again for old time's sake...

Since then I've acquired CFS2, IL-2, a bargain bin Crimson Skies, Strike Fighters, SAR4, X-Plane, and 46 in that order.

I used to be a bit of a nut when it came to flight sims. I loved the excitement of the first time I tried out the games, and the anticipation before the 'ride'.
Some of the following I've never even played, though that mainly applies to presents from other people, and game collections that contain ex. hellicopter sims.

My list of sims, more or less in the order in which they were purchased:

-Total Air War.
-Fighter Squadron: Screamin' Demons (over Europe).
-Combat Flight Simulator 2 (microsoft).
-Combat Flight Simulator 1 (microsoft).
-MSFS 98
-IL2 (I had to wait for a computer upgrade before I could enjoy it).
-European Air War.
-Rowans Battle of Britain (the original).
-MSFS 2002.
-Jane's WWII Fighters (very good - I played this A LOT).
-Korean F18 (this and the following 3 games were in a compendium/collection I found second-hand).
-Flying Corps Gold
-Apache Havoc
-Mig Ally (never played this one! I got it a bit too late http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif)
-Crimson Skies.
-Flight unlimited III (very good for the time).
-Jane's IAF.
-Pearl Harbour -Strike at Dawn .(rubbish).
-B17 Flying fortress -the mighty 8th.
-Luftwaffe Commander (this would never work).
-Falcon 4
-Red Baron 3D
-Forgotten Battles. (and later on Ace Expansion Pack).
-CFS 3. (with firepower add-on)
-Pacific Fighters.
-Janes Attack Squadron. (rubbish)
-MSFS 2004. (with lots of add-on scenery etc.)
-Wings of War.
-Lock On (LOMAC).
-SuperEF 2000.
-X Plane (I'm embarassed to say I haven't tried it yet!).
-MS FSX. (with Wings of Power WWII Fighters add-on).
-Shockwave: Wings of Victory - BoB II.

Also these others in the IL2 series:
-Complete Edition.
-Sturmovik 1946.

Does having all these old flight sims lying around make you feel good about your life? Do they make living in a trailer-park and fixing deep fryers bearable for you? Or maybe you live in inheirited wealth, and never had to learn what makes a life meaningful and rich, so this is the best you could come up with? Fill us in....

It makes me feel terrible about life.
I'm starting to get tired of the trailer park.
My inherited money is a burden.

Don't forget the 1st APACHE that launched from DOS, That was awsome, and the LHX helicopter sim, you could splatter camels in that one. Oh ya, and F-16 was a good one for laser guided bombing. I have the very 1st MS Flight sim, and FS 95 and 2000,I was an instrument flying nut for a long time there naving from town to town using actual aviation charts with low vis, and I also have the 1st MS CFS, and of course I nearly lived online flying Janes WW2 before, I think, hyperlobbly. I can remember Jane's was thinning out online and a squad mate told me: "They are probably all going over to IL2" I asked: " What's IL2 ?" ,
but I was stationed in Italy when I first started flight sims and I dont remember ever seeing any trailer parks or deep fryers being repaired, and I sure the hell am not rich but I have some solo time in actual aircraft but circumstances at this time make it an unwise venture so my flight training is on hold, also my RC planes are in storage while we are in transition. As far as my hobby making me feel good; thats exactly what it does, and if some people dont like it, I won't mention any names, they can shove it.
