I'm deciding between a TBM and an SBD (both 1/9 scale) right now, but I was wondering if anyone else built.

I'm about to begin building the Guillows SBD-3 Dauntless and then convert it to electric power r/c.

He spent a long time building a beautiful P-38 that was museum quality minus the few visible flying model components.

It became scrap on it's second flight. I just don't think I could handle that too often.

Your 25's looking good... I always got the most hung up on the covering, can't stand that part. Just a warning, joberick, Guillows kits aren't that good anymore, you should be fine but make SURE to cut the lines again on all diecut parts with an exacto knife, or they'll have a chance of beaking when you take 'em out of the sheet. I'm getting my kit from www.skysharkrc.com (http://here), they beat pacific fighters to the tempest and the TBM. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
