Oleg,

Will BoB utilize the AGEIA PhysX processor ?

I see other developers (ie Ghost Recon Warfighter) utilizing this processor.

Thanks

Naturally this hardware is going to work and play well with everyone's mobo, right?

Would you tie your company future to a single source product like that?

Since flight sims generally don't utilize the kind of dynamics systems like you see in FPS games, I'd be surprised if such a thing was supported by BoB.

Though I do secretly wish of a day where bombs will flip tanks, bailing pilots bounce off rudders and particle systems will be affected by wind and collisions.

AGEIA PhysX doesn't only support bouncing over of objects, but also effects of smoke, wind, explosions, etc. Things like that surely are in any (combat) flightsim.

AFAIK it was considered supporting it in BoB.

Alienware and Dell are already building systems with PhysX, so I see this pick up speed in the future just like the video card did. just watch those little videos on te web site. This can do a huge difference in damage model.
