A buddy of mine, {GK}66SS enlightened me to a possible solution to the problem most people have been having, where you seem to hang in stutters for upwards of 5 seconds (my worst, being 18... lol). I tried this, and i have seldom had the "trigger pull" freezes anymore, though the run of the mill "nothing's happening, but you freeze anyways" freezes still seem to happen a bit.

Anyways, try this out, it helped me a lot.

Click on Start Menu, and go to the UBI folder, and select "Setup"

Click the "Video" tab

Under "Texture Compression," select "S3TC", and apply.

I did this, and it seemed to help quite a bit.

Good Luck all! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
