Stop using the "RBJ" moniker to get people to look at your dim-witted posts.

My computer was down the last 10 days. 10 days and no computer at all. Kind of puts things into perspective. New mobo but one of my memory sticks is bad, so I can't play games for like 5 or 6 more days. So I don't know much about the patch other than trim still sucks and that it is supposedly a "beta".

Whats up with a beta patch after 6 months? So how long to the real patch? Should I even bother with this patch? I am not going to study the sim for 100 hours if it's just going to change soon.

Anyway I'm back but have a broken wing (only 256mb of memory)

Actually, I'm making fun, but I'm not one to talk. I've not downloaded the patch and played.

I'm lurking and pulling legs.

I do hope the FINAL patch is for the positive

Rayban, if you would just overclock your computer it would still be working.

Not overclocking it lets it get fat and lazy then it has a heart attack.

One of my capacitors ruptured. I could see the acidic residue's juicy trail. This lead to a corruption of my memory. Good thing I have a Micron PC with a 3 year warranty. Getting a new Mobo and memory for free.

Overclocking? We don't need no stinking overclocking!!! I'm gonna replace my $53 XP1900+ (1.6ghz) with a $117 XP2600+ (2.13 ghz) I play it straight. No cheats here, just pure and honest computing. Someday I am going to sell my computer and I will be able to look the buyer in the eye and tell him the truth...the computer has been stock since day 1.

Same problem here. Thought at first that either my HDD is out of order , either the vidcard. Turned out that my 512 RAM stick is fried for 15% capacity. everything used above 84% gave me either BSD but mostly reboots. Took a RAM tester soft and this one shows that my simm is outta order. Unfortunately I have only one sim of 512. Ordered 2 sims of 512 MB , kingston. they claim is the best out there.
