1944 Fw 190 -A8 never came with a bubble canopy in 1944.

Well, initially the had the "normal" canopies but starting from autumn '44 many got retrofitted with the bubble-canopies.

Since the bubble-canopies were in production with the F-8 and the pilots appreciated the better view out of the plane, production got swept over to the bubbeled design. This was around autumn '44 (they wanted to standardize the production, so they only built one canopy-type from this point on: the bubble).

There were also some Doras with the old canopy flying around. The first Fw190-type (fighter) to be equipped with the new canopy right from production was the A-9.
However, in late '44 many damaged A-8s received new engines and new canopies. Consequently they were practically A-9s from this point on.
