there is nothing wrong with anybody having there own opinion, and in most cases, wanting to explain thier view on it. (without getting severe outlash.)

on forums, or with text/chat on IL2 series, things can get out of hand quickly. a statement leads to a comment from somebody else. that in turn ( no matter how true, or correct) will lead to something else much more heated.

whether RIGHT, or WRONG...sometimes its best to just say you wont add to that subject anymore, and let the bad side of the discussion cease.

now normally, i dont outright mean to provoke anyone, but in this case (online) things got hot quickly. after a few minutes of us bantering back and forth extolling our side of what we thought is right.... i bit my tongue and said.

"I DROP IT"

funny enuff, several of the guys said "GROUP HUG!" online.. from there we kinda poked fun at the situation, and of course, i had to allow myself to get poked fun of as well, and go along with it. (it IS good from time to time)

well, ultimately we patched it up...im assuming so..we had fun the last few minutes. for me, its a RARITY to see 2 people online quarrel, then say fuggit, "theres better things to talk about"... and carry on like 2 good chaps should.

i dont know if i regularly see "JABO-THE-HUT" online. but i know him now, and look forward to seeing him on warclouds again. im glad we got over our i-think/you-think debate. so many of us have bad images from simple meetings like that. too bad.

JABO-THE-HUT, my open apology, glad we worked it out, and still had fun afterward for a few! see ya in WC...
