From what I understand, the AC series is NOT mod-friendly, most RPGs aren't in my experience. I can't even look inside the game's archive files to see exactly what file types it uses for models, textures and data files.

I know someone released a texture mod and a small mod that removed the "computer data" that surrounds someone when you lock onto them, but I have no idea how either would be implimented.

I can confirm this - it's very difficult to mod the AC games as the format (the famous .forge files) hasn't been completely figured out. Last I heard is people can rip some stuff out of the game (sound, music and models) but the only thing that can be modded (and it isn't very fun) is a few textures here and there.

Personally i'd love to see the game opened up more, but it's unlikely to happen.

Hm, did anyone find out what formats the models and textures were in?

Just google for "forge format" - there's a program out there which rips textures out, but otherwise it's not much fun.

Mod-talk isn't the same as P-talk.
