Are you a woman? You answered a question, with a question.

IMHO Bob Godfrey's 'Great' - the story of Isambard Kingdom Brunel is the best animation ever. Academy award winner 1976.

I bought 'Madagascar' for my kids on DVD, but can't remeber how the water looks, except in the scene where they all fall of the ship while crated. Alex, the lion, peeks through a hole in his crate and looks for the others. In that scene the water looks pretty much like the water in Silent Hunter III, IIRC. So, we have water like that allready, just not in IL-2 wich is an 'old' game. (5 years now, is it?)
Anyway, the water in Silent Hunter III only looks good from near the surface, it looks strange from a birds eye perspective wich is the perspective we hope to be using in this game..

Check out the water for farcry for the xbox 360. It's like nothing I've ever seen to this date. You must see it in motion. The movement is incredible.

Unfortunately, the water is about all that is good about Far Cry http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

For some REALLY nice water, and just photographic environments in general, check out the Tech demo from Valve, Half Life 2: Lost Coast. That water, lighting, reflection, refraction, etc etc is incredible.
