I'm finally supposed to get DSL installed next Monday, and after reading all the posts on here about flying on-line, I decided to take the plunge and order PF. In the off chance that my POS Gateway can actually run it (I have my doubts. It barely runs FB), will it delete my in-progress campaign on FB. I'm about 30 missions in on a Finnish campaign and after flying the Gladiator for 20, I just up-graded to the Buffalo. I really don't want to start over. If it will delete this campaign, can anyone tell me how close I am to the end. It's supposed to rain all week-end in Texas, so I might be able to finish it before PF arrives, if my wife doesn't protest my hogging the computer. Thanks. S!

Why not back it up to a safe location then run the merged install? That way if it fouls up, you still have your progress and should be able to copy it back into the merged FB/PF. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
Where in Texas btw? I'm in Houston & the weekend is supposed to fine (if you actually believe the weather goons that is http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

For me performance seems to peak about v3.01 and decrease thereafter.

Lately, I've been trying to run PF on a machine with just 128MB of RAM, but it just doesn't cut it. 256 is just fine, though.

Thanks for the replies. I am surprised that PF runs better than FB. Looking at the system requirements I figured PF would make my computer freeze up solid. I feel less nervous about trying it out now. icrash, I'm about 275 miles north-west of Houston. When I posted, the weather service was forcasting rain all week-end. This morning they've taken most of the rain out of the forcast.
