I'm curious if anyone on Oleg's team is aware of the hosting problems on UBI, and if anyone can give an update or official statement on it. So far UBI hasn't been responding to the requests for tech support on this issue. I know quite a few people who are feeling very frustrated on the issue right now.

For more info see:

Thanks,

Hi Hunter,

Thanks for the reply and I also want to thank you for all the great work you do for us in the tech support forum.

Can you pass the following on to the powers that be at UBI and Maddox.

I'm not sure what's going on with the hosting issue. But it seems unlikely that after a month and a half that no one at Maddox or UBI has a clue why this is going on. The problem here is that when you leave your customers out of the loop as to what's really going on for as long as this has been occurring you give your customers the impression that you don't care about them. This is obviously an important issue to some of your customers. Even a response we don't like, such as "Fixing the problem affects too much code, it will have to wait until the next major patch is released." is better than no response. We may not like it, but most of us would understand it.

true, I don't know how much control Hunter has over this.
I do know Hunter works hard for the community, and I appreciate him responding here that he is involved.

I'd take this as 'we are working on it, be patient'.

Thanks Hunter

My understanding is that Hunter is a volunteer. And a darn good one too. Best he can do for us on this is communicate to those who do have control over it. Which he is doing.
