3 monitors with Fresnel lenses, while impressive, is not equal to 3D. Marketing hype by the look of it.

The use of the fresnel lenses to eliminate monitor frames from the composite image would be nice though. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It looks like something from the 80's. This (http://www.go-l.com/monitors/grand_canyon/features/) owns that.

Looks dodgy, honestly. Interesting, but I don't think I'd like it

Two BSS pilots use fresnel len's on their monitors and they love'em. Plays a neet little trick on the Mk-1 eyeball by giving the look of a very large display area with depth and clarity. I haven't made one... yet. I have a 24" viewable Silicon Graphics. So I'm not too much in a hurry to try it. But maybe one of these days.

S!

How many n00bs are gonna ask where they can get a Mk-I eyeball, I wonder
