View Full Version : Who to sink?

I don't think I missed this in the manual. How do you know who you can sink? There are a lot of merchant ships out there flying various flags. All I can find in the manual is that if you sink a neutral ship you get a rogue status for that mission.

Is there a way to find out who you are at war with so you don't sink neutral, ships?

The mission may tell you in a warning not to sink any american ships or neutral ships. You can use the periscope or binoculars to see the flags each ship is flying. You can use the recognition manual if you can make out the silhouette of the ships. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif The color of the triangle marker in the periscope will tell you well only if its enabled. The attack map will show you the selected target if it is neutral(green) or enemy(red). Also on page 32 you can ask the weapons officer via an icon to identify the ship that is selected.

I think the color of the triangle means the probability of successfull hit.

Red = Bad
Orange = Meduim
Green = Good

I see it turn green on my target when I was in the good position.

Anyway, I play with target update on map because even if I recognise the flag I don't know if he's ennemi or neutral.
