Well, I've just started fiddling with DCG and Lowengrin I've just got to say WOW!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Not only is everything customizable, and you can see a war is going on, it actually works with the Original IL-2 and with my favorite plane, the P-39!!!! There aren't many campaigns for the P-39 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

This program is incredible. Started a Kuban 43 campaign today, flying P-39 N1. First mission was a bridge defence. We took off and patroled at 4000m for a while, before we spotted about 8 109s. We started mixing it up, first pass I was chasing two 109s on the tail of my wingie. They got him before I could get there, but then I blew off the tail of one of them, and ran into the other http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif (I misjudged a pull up and went right into him http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif) But I bailed over friendly territory and enjoyed a 4000m parachute trip http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Next mission was tank busting, really fun once I remembered to set a delay on my bomb http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif . We transited at 4000m again, got close to the tanks, and all 5 of my buddies released at 3000m, needless to say they missed. I went into a power dive and nailed one with a direct bomb hit going 650 kph +!!!! We made short work of the rest of them, I took out the flak and they took out the tanks.

Trip home was uneventful till I got jumped by a flak gun near my home base. The little b*&^*&^er took 20+ .303 cals and 2 39mm shells to go down!!!!

Lowengrin, DCG is absolutely incredible!!!! Thanks for this wonderful tool!!!

I have to agree, I havent used it recently, and things get added so quickly its probably much better now.

However, even when I used it a year ago or so, it was fantastic, massive battles with 60+ planes on the map fighting it out.

Respect Lowengrin http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I will try it soon http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif, however I have got into on line flying now, and now it is rare that I play offline.

Once you have fought against real players, fighting robots seems a little lacking sometimes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

However for offline flying Lowengrins DCG is hte best.

I had problems with DCG,mainly with it generating missions not connected with each other.I also specified which planes are flyable, which are to be encountered in the theatre of operations but program ignores. The manual is quite unclear.

Any online guides?

Been participating in Clash Of Titans III online war which was entirely done by DCG. Also an avid DCG offline user and love the customizing aspect. Currently doing Jasta V's Pacific campign starting as a Wildcat pilot at Guadalcanal.

Carguy, many guides available at lowengrin.com as well a pretty active forum board for tweaking. I've not run into the problems you are mentioning...

You can enjoy DCG online too! Both Forgotten Skies (http://www.forgottenskies.com) and our own Clash of Titans (http://cot.jg1.org) use it as the campaign engine.

Just realized Sensei beat me to the punch. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
