Hey all, this seems to be a day for material on level bombing.

I saw an earlier post which directed readers to a program which converted indicated airspeed into true airspeed. Well, I found it difficult to switche between PF and the program during missions, so I wrote a small program for my Ti-83 Plus graphing calculator.

Here's the program line:

PROGRAM: AIRSPEED

: Menu("Inputs","IMPERIAL",I, "METRIC",M)
: Lbl I
: Prompt H
: Prompt S
: (.02H/1000)S+S ->W
: Disp "TAS", W
: Stop
: Lbl M
: Prompt H
: Prompt S
: (.02H/304.8)S+S ->Z
: Disp "TAS", Z
: Stop
: End

H is your altitude, S is your indicated speed.
Plug them in and you get your TAS, or True Airspeed. The -> are supposed to be arrows (variable "store" key).

Good Luck.
