As the title said... I have tried to toggle and untoggle all the flying options in the game, but I can't actually see that famous "arrows" when firing on an enemy aircraft...
How can I get them?

Thank you.
Cheers,
Rick

You have to go to your IL2 games folder and find the file config.ini. Open it using wordpad and look for a line with the word "arcade".
Change that from
arcade 0
to
arcade 1

Good luck

You can also download IL2 Manager and do it through there as well. You can get IL2 manager from the Sturmovik Essentials link in my sig.

does this make the flight characteristics different in arcade mode or can you still fly with some realistic settings and have the arrows . And are these arrows differnt from the red and blue ones seen on th eedge of the screen when planes are out of site.

The arcade mode shows hits on the aircraft as well as the angle of entry of the shot, ricochet and bomb bursts:

By the way the file you need (the conf.ini) is just called 'conf'. 'Arcade' is under the heading [game] in this 'conf' file. It can be found in the main game folder which is under ubisoft in your 'programs' or 'program files'.

I've never really played around with it.

Useful for gunnery practice?

Very. You can see when your shots hit, or rather ...you can see just how many of your shots MISS. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif
