I have feedback all the way up. Its really only annoying
with the mk108. You can adjust to smaller cannon/machine guns.

Yep'their a great stick.good and heavy so they do need a certain amount of support,Have mine on the pullout keyboard shelf on my computer desk,as for it jumping around
remember theres a eye on the stick that when you remove your hand cancels the FF effects' have a Logitech wingman that would literly walk off the desk and try to run across the room if you did'nt hang on to it...lol
Also keep in mind to keep your stick covered when not in use...I find that the plastic tubular bags your news paper comes in are great, just pull it over the stick loosely so it covers the buttons and throttle...amazing the amount of cust in the air.. gets to dirty pitch it..just my 2 centavos worth....

I have a fairly heavy ring binder I use. Really, though, as long as you have some nice flat surface (a big book?) the stick is heavy enough to be fairly stable in your lap.
