I was browsing at EB Games store the other day and stumbled upon a new add-on for the Microsoft Flight Simulator III which allow you to fly a list of heavy bombers. Are they trying to pick up what was left off by 1C?http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
The add-on also includes most jet aircrafts that are included in IL-2 1946. Is it a coincidence? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

Just a recycle of their add-ons for FS9 and CFS3---both 3 years old.

Very old stuff. Still, the Shockwave add-ons add a ton of badly needed improvememnt to CFS3.

Aircraft PowerPack is Shockwave's dual reissue of two expansion packs:

1. "FirePower" for CFS3; and
2. "Wings of Power: Heavy Bombers and Jets" for Flight Simulator 2003.

As Treetop and leitmotiv said, those came out several years ago. "FirePower" helped launch Shockwave's reputation as an up and coming developer, while "Heavy Bombers and Jets" became the beginning of their Wings Of Power line for FS. Shockwave has since released several WWII fighter planes for Flight Simulator, and reworked the classic sim Rowan's Battle of Britain into a new release, "BoBII: Wings of Victory." Shockwave is currently working on its own Flying Tigers themed sim.

The Aircraft Power Pack is both a blessing and a bargain. "Heavy Bombers and Jets" disappeared from retail outlets, and online vendors like Amazon.com were selling copies of it for $80! The new release includes bonus skins, but it also can install as FSX compatible. It also has a bonus P-51D for FirePower (complete with bugs) and an unadvertised bonus Mustang for Flight Simulator that is simultanously for sale as an individual download at Shockwave's website.
