View Full Version : No TBF/M so how about an IL2T?

Since we dont have any pacific torpedo bombers available why not just use the IL2T in a dgen campaign? Has anyone created one of these yet?

If so can someone point me in its general direction (actual any antishipping campaign with the IL2T will work) or point me in the direction of how to learn DGEN?

They are not carrier aircraft.

If you just have to fly something with torpedoes, why not A-20 or Beaufighter. At least the theatre is correct.

Anything's a carrier aircraft if you're precise enough and haul off on the brakes when you land http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif .

Why not the HE-111 it has 2 torpedos... Well the simple reason is those planes are too large for a torpedo campaign. They can use regular payloads to kill ships faster so there is no real point.

I created a 30 mission IL-2T campaign. You can get it here. It is called Straight and True.

because using the Il-2T is just unfair to the ships!
they need something their shells can penatrate! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thank you Zeus-cat that is more then what I was looking for. I still would like a dynamic campaign based on a small torpedo bomber but that can wait for the TBF/M. (If they ever make it flyable.)

neither the Japanese or the USA have torpedo carrier aircraft, at least there is parity.
