A little known fighter aircraft in service with the RAF during the late 1920's. A small fighter with a short fuselage its service life were relatively brief, being replaced by the faster and more powerful Bristol Bulldog around 1930. The Gamecock was also built in Finland and used as a fighter until 1939, then as a trainer.

Isn't Gamecock a plane that Bader crashed with and became paralised? Or was it Bulldog?

Even better, the Grebe/Gambet based Nakajima A1N1. Even saw combat over China I think.
