Which game are you trying to install?

Pacific Fighters or IL2 Sturmovik 1946 DVD?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

When you get to Magnum-PC.com (https://magnum-pc.com/Search/External/) tell 'em HawgDog sent you.

it is a 2 disc set. it says pacific fighters . upon install it asks install pf stand alone or install fb+aed+pf. I chose pf stand alone because i dont have fb. during install it asks for the next cd at aabout 49% thru install. not surewhy.

You need both discs to complete the install. When disc 1 is complete, it should ask you for disc 2. Remove one from the tray, put two in, and hit enter. This should complete the installation. If your drive is having problems reading the disc, post your dxdiag in the Community Help forum. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/49310655

Yes, a brief explanation of the problem you're having is essential. However, you need to complete the install using both discs first if possible.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

In your default directory, is an icon named il2setup. Click on it and select the choices that fit your hardware. When done, try again. Post back your results.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

For a Pacific Fighters standalone installation it may be called PFSetup.exe<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
