I remember in the old IL2 when flying the STUKA divebomber you had to assign a special key in the options meny to that plane.
so when you pushed that key the nose got heavy and took the plane in to a dive.
But in IL2 1946 i can't find where to assign it.
anyone know anything about that??
Come on there must be a ace out there who know.

Sounds like you're talking about the Dive Brakes. Just look for that in the controls list.

I love the Stuka.

Had great fun on UKDed2 the other night in a Med mission.

It takes aaaaages to pedal that thing up to 10,000ft, but punching an SC1800 shaped hole in an aircraft carrier after a screaming power dive is sweet indeed.

And of course, the sirens and the auto pull-out are great!

It's my 3rd favorite airplane http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif Online its great fun if you can get one or two fighter jocks to fly cover for you...usually not too hard as it gives them a chance to pounce on anyone who comes after you.
