Tom Clancy's SSN (http://www.subsim.com/ssr/tom.html) however unrealistic seams like a good game idea. I say it is re-made more to the fashion of Silent Hunter(sim) For I am reading to book and for that I would put up with a semi-scriped or evean a fully-scriped campaign(as long there is a quick battle option and they dont tell you what is comeing only where to go). And Im SHIII spoiled(dynamic campaign) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif.

Well, i would like to have a new modern sub sim.

Dangerous Waters is just not enough.

Its complex but still to much arcade like in some aspects and has a rediculous physic and graphics engine for the year 2006.

It also has its unique sides in which the game simply becomes super boring. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

hmmm...I miss good old Red Storm Rising..

I did enjoy being given actual missions and stuff, as well as seeing some sort of progress in the war....

ah! those were the days!

Ah yes, I remeber may nights lost playing Red Storm Rising. As simplistic as that sim was it was outstanding in its day. A modern remake with the war progression using up-to-date subs would be excellent! I'd definately buy & play it!

So in essence what we want is a modern subsim (maybe just naval sim http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif ) with a dynamic campaign like SHIII. Since I agree that DW is boring and using old graphics (Jane's Fleet Command and later ??Subcommand?? ). I defitely miss a modern naval/subsim with dynamic campaign instead of scenarios and missions. You get tired of playing the same missions over and over again.

Like I said "As long as there is a quick battle option"
