I have read
http://www.airwarfare.com/guides/b25_bg.htm

I can adjust bombsight angle.

Where in the world is altitude and airspeed? I have binded all the functions related to the bombsight but...

lost

help?

On top of that how in the world do I fly my plane crisp and even while looking at the bombsight without anything to work with?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Hi http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I'm assuming your looking for indication of speed ,altitude rather than how to set it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Go to "Difficulty" settings and allow "Speed Bar"
That gives you
Airspeed
Altitude
Heading
(all true rather than indicated,Ithink,I'm sure someone will correct if I'm wrong)

And

for level flight
go to "controls" (main screen) and assign a key for "Level ????" (not at MY PC http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif )

Hope this helps

Got that. I find flying with it a royal pain, not enough info. A gryo for roll and vertical, what ever that thingy is, along with that sure would be helpful.

go to "controls" (main screen) and assign a key for "Level ????"

there is...
level stabilizer
toggle level autopilot

I have toggle level autopilot bound and tested. I will try again but I am finding not all things work the same way with all planes, but so far with at least 2 planes for sure no real effect. Just tried the level stabilizer and that works!

One thing that may need to be considered is I am playing in GOD mode and have realisitic gunnery turned off. GOD mode for me means I only have blackouts and redouts, clouds and take off landing turned on (next time that will include realistic take off and landing - ARGH).

?

I have
sight distance - angle in degrees
sight L/R - side slip in degrees
sight altitude - in feet
sight velocity - mph TAS

Now I also find myself oddly enough answering my own question because ALL OF THOSE WORKED or did they? After playing with sight altitude and velocity I find my sight distance and L/R inactive. What the ...

sigh....

K... could be from all the CTRL+ALT+DEL back and forth to write this one up with the correct lingo, joystick stabilizer is inactive all the sudden. Could be I was in autopilot when I tried before but find that unlikely since I kept turning it on and off while playing around.

Also got a response this time from the bomb sight automation off toggle... some bombs came out, the sight appeared to reset to zero and I could see if the bombs hit my target. Do i press this after I drop my bombs so I can see if I hit my target?

Off to RTFM and play some more with this stuff.

Any helpful tips and comments appreciated. I may be nearly there with really dropping bombs rather than just making low level runs, lining up with an exterior shot and letting them rain down... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sleepzzz.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Toggle Level Autopilot has nothing to with bomb dropping.

It has nothing to do with leveling the aircraft.

Read those two statements again. Memorize them.

All Toggle Level Autopilot does is toggle whether the autopilot engages and diengages when you move from one cockpit to another.

It has to be one of the worst named functions in the game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

LOL

Memorized and thanks for the tip that will reduce my frustration!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Well, it's all there in the manual... imagine that... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

As a recent PC gaming noob I just recently discovered this file in the directory when going there to find the confi.ini to pixel map my display.

Far more thorough then I would have imagined!

Either way I have yet to actually test out all this new knowledge and sure hope the controls act as I expect them too. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif or http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif ?
