Most guncam is copyrighted. I own all these and they are great.

www.rareaviation.com (http://www.rareaviation.com)

These are expensive but its all retouched and highest quality.

I have all these as well

the gun camera footage of wwii has some eastern front footage as well as the german guncamera on.

all of them are excellent especially the george preddy one.

There is also the timelife series history of WW2 which has alot of unseen before guncamera footage land sea and air.

I been collecting guncam for along time since a kid when there use to be webrings of people who use to make trades of reels now all the stuff seems to be bought up by companies and copyrighted.

ahh rgr nice explanation leadspitter thats what i was hopein for not really good news tho... guess it does explain the avalabilty of this stuff tho

thnx for the links

been surprising to me seein a few guncam shots as to how much some of the stuff resembles il2 and how much dont...

1 question if somebodys still readin this post
alot of guncams show an aircraft gettin tag a little and the pilot seems to ignore it and still fly a stright and leval path seen alot of um like this now

or they gettin hit and just stay in a gentle banked turn

well they didnt have sonar sound to hear someone on thier tail, aircraft also suffered stick pressures at high speed and slowed control at higher alt becuase of the air flow being thinner. All the vets and airshows pilots that flown this sim say with increments up to 30 50 deadzone and full filtering make the aircraft feel like how they flew. What we have here is all 100 input levels that are flyby wire responsive with hydrolics like today modern fighters.

That and guncamera is slowed down half speed past 44 and before that it was quarter speed and only 1 minute of footage was able to be recorded so it appears much slower.

Theres alot of pacific guncamera footage in color that is real time and they seem much less responsive.

heres some free clips
