Perhaps someone could post a few FM2 screenshots, if it's not too much trouble. Thanx

Blue and yellow make green. How's that for being realistic in the details?

Remember when you were a kid and you had that painting exercise in grade school where you mixed two colors to get another.

Remember what color yellow and blue yield? Green. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

At any rate what you see is a carry-over from the original, larger muzzle flash effects. Personally I think they should get rid of the 'lit up' effect during daylight and only include it with the larger flashes during darkness.

As it stands right now the inside of the 190 cowling still gets illuminated during the day when the flashes don't even extend past the nose anymore.

Ok, ok, you maybe right. But, by now, let's rejoice that the Colombo's-lighter-like flames have gone. I'm so happy about that... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

The FM-2 is very nice to fly, a powerful TnB machine, lots of low-speed poke.

The test of the muzzle flashes is the 262. I QM'd one against some B-24s, and you can see the target throughout the gun bursts. (I still got shot in the engine and caught fire, but a couple of Libs went down too).

what kind of fps hits do you get with the mirror turned on?

In AEP I fly with mirrors on, and it doesn't decrease the framerate at all (at least not perceptibly).

Hey Kuoster! Bro whats up? Man I have a love for WWII props so after they took too long with the LOMAC patch back then I started to fly IL again. With carriers now, its going to be a little while before I get back to LOMAC. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Those shots are 1280 x 980 8AA and AF with Perfect settings. Good to see some LOMAC guys here S!
