Just a heads up for warbird fans.

It says on the clip that the SPitfire flew with every single one of the Allied Air Forces in WW2.

though I love the Corsair really much, nothing can match the noise of a RL Griffon-Spit at start procedure. You have to experience it to believe it, there's no similar thing. Next close to it is the DB605, then the R-2800. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I do love the sound of the SPit, but theres just something about the Bf109 with its Supercharger whining as it zooms past, I would have to put the Bf109 in first place.

Battle of Britian Veteran 'Bam' Bamburger echoes the thoughts of many, that Spitfires ceased to be the same plane after the Mark IX.

He said in the clip that 'Mitchells Spitfire dissapeared after the MkIX'

I have seen him talking in a Battle Of Britain Documentary too. He has flown MkI, MkII, MkV, MkIX, XIV, mk19, Mk22.
