Hi all, just got IL-2 Sturmovik for Xmas and have a major problem. I am working a 1.4ghz Celeron based HP with 64meg on board video and 256meg RAM. The game installs nicely, but when I push play, my entire screen, task bar and all, flips upside down. I can find no way to put it back. The installation screens are upright, but the game is not. I took it to my fathers computer when we visited, it was fine on his. What now? Can someone please help me solve this so I can enjoy it?!?!? I also have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick hooked up (usb). Any suggestions?

I had that exact same problem with the demo before Christmas. It seems the problem was my Intel Integrated graphics and unfortunately the only thing that fixed it was when I bought a new graphics card http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif But I loved playing the demo after I got the new card and now I'm loving playing the full version since I got it for Christmas as well! You can get a decent graphics card for pretty cheap now and I highly recommend it not just for this game but it will help all your other games run better too. Good luck!

This can be fixed, and I have seen the fix at the tech support forum. You will do better to post over there, and good luck, Mate http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I appreciate the help guys, but I finally solved it! It seems that XP and Intel Extreme onboard video confict with certain phases of the program. If anyone else encounters this, simply go into the Extreme Graphics configuration file and uncheck the box marked "enable rotation"
Happy flying.
