That's not true, if you can run AC1 without problems, you can run AC2 as well. It feels and plays like a PC game, I have no idea where those complaints come from.
Some people simply choose to constantly stare at fraps' fps counter and freak out whenever it drops below 50. Or they have viruses or lots of unnecessary programs running in the background.

I got a mediocre PC and it runs smoothly. You are stupid for making posts like that. 99.9% thinks the game is awesome, everyone just hates the DRM. The graphics are really stunning and it is much better on PC then on PS or xbox.

I find it funny that people that don't got the game or waiting for the crack are bashing on it, very funny.

Anyways on topic: Probably there will be some problems to, I guess these problems will be sorted after this week, but from what I have heard (atm not at home this week) are many people back playing it without any problems.

And yes, the game is really good.

Hi and welcome to the forums

In answer to your question your location should not affect your ability to connect to the OSP. Some have had issues when trying to connect from behind an HTTP proxy server such as those living in Universities etc however there are ways to bypass this in most cases.

That said we did have issues with the server earlier this week which affected players around the world, this is perhaps what you've seen reported?

Those issues are being addressed, and Ubisoft are working on a compensation plan for those who were affected.
