View Full Version : Very few SP missions out of box?

Just wanted to check something... I was surprised to find that in my version of PF, the list of single player missions comprised mostly of carrier takeoff/landing training... and maybe 2-3 Pearl Harbour/Midway ones.

Is that all that comes with PF out of the box, or am I somehow missing files?

While I'm here, are there only takeoff/landing tutorials included in PF?

BTW, I know there's lots of missions out there, as well as tutorials... I just wanted to verify that those are all the missions/training vids that are included in PF out of the box.

yes very few - if i remember correctly, it was intended to be filled by mission builder. speaking of which, that's the fourum to search for what you're looking for including some tutorials

Thanks guys... I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any files. Seemed oddly barren.

But, that said, I will probably need missions eventually, so I'll check out your links.

A word of caution lad,

Be carefull if you start building missions. It's a can of worms. It can lead to building campaigns. And then, your life will never be the same. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Actually, the same can be said for playing flight sims as well!

I was sitting here, actually being productive, when suddenly I decided to buy Pacific Fighters... So I started playing that... and that lead me to re-visit IL2... and I played that too.... which lead me to re-visit Lock-On... so I'm playing that now as well....

I'll be lucky if I even eat one meal this week... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

There are some great single player missions and campaigns at airwarfare.com, as well as loads of co-op missions.

A friend of mine put together about 25 co-op missions to make a campaign. Try Philippines 1941 by Ccrashh. It's a very immersive and challenging set of missions. It was designed for "Full Switch" with four human pilots, but I've done some by myself. You could always edit the opposing pilots' experience level for single player.
