A New B-24 Double Feature -- Two great flicks never shown before online!

Stop by Zeno's Warbird Video Drive-In www.zenoswarbirdvideos.com (http://www.zenoswarbirdvideos.com) and catch two awesome World War II aviation flicks. As part of our continuing 6th anniversary celebration we're showing two features never seen before on the Net: "B-24s Get Back," featuring amazing footage on how to get a crippled Liberator back home, and "Pre Fight Inspection of the B-24," a crew chief's eye view of B-24 maintenance.

These classics are for free online viewing (like all our other online videos), have been newly re-digitized and now, because we now have more bandwidth, you have the option of watching them them at 100kbs/sec if you have broadband.

"B-24s Get Back" shows how Liberators and their crews overcame incredible battle damage to get back home. This is a fascinating instructional training film demonstrateshttp://www.zenoswarbirdvideos.com/Images/24back.gif
specific techniques for landing Liberators that have sustained a wide variety of damage in differing conditions, including water landings. Includes great combat footage too!

""Pre flight Inspection of the B-24" covers the Liberator preflight check from a new perspective: the Crew Chief --in this case, "Sgt Kelly." Most of the other videos shown at the Drive-In are from the pilot's point of view, including "How to Fly the B-24D." In this film, the ground crew of the B-24 "Hellzappopin" are the stars of this very detailed inspection.

If you haven't stopped by Zeno's Drive-In before, we also feature 1942-45 vintage WWII Army & Navy films on how to fly the F4U, F6F, P-38, P-39, P-40, P-47, P-51, P-61, TBF/TBM, B-17, B-24, B-25, A-20, A-26, B-26, B-29, and more. That's over 12 hours of rockin' props for free viewing over the internet. See detailed charts, diagrams, and interior photos from original WWII pilot's manuals too.

And by popular request, you can now order high quality, large format video on CDs of all the WWII films featured at the Drive-In from our new CD Video Store at surprisingly low prices. These CDs will play on just about any Windows or Mac computer and include rare bonus films like "Recognition of the Japanese Zero" and "The Rear Gunner," " Clark Gable's "Combat America," and more. International orders are welcome.

Our "Monthly Special" features the video CD "Flight Characteristics of the P-51 Mustang," which includes the exciting fighter documentary "Fight for the Sky," all for only US$7.95!

Finally, our "Control Tower" page has the largest collection of World War II Aviation links on the 'net

So drop your flaps & drop in!

Thanks for the heads up on your new movie/product...I enjoy quality documentary/real WWII footage... I have a few selections available for viewing on my site...

Not to be a thorn under your saddle, but I believe that commercial solicitations are forbidden on this forum...I could be wrong. That might be just a SimHQ rule.

Most offerings I have seen have been for free stuff/shared stuff...freeware, etc... From time to time, people point others in the direction of software or hardware products, or suggest that a particular Movie or DVD would be a worthwile purchase... But using the forum to repeatedly and routinely advertise ones own business, again, I believe is verboten. I could be wrong.

Well! Just look at the movies. Make sure you have Real Player , a free one /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
I don't see anything wrong. There are posts way more commercial than this one. And afterall is about B-24 , the best plane ... well , you know the rest!

Point taken, but I have over 12 hours of free video on my site. I think you would be hard pressed to find that much free bandwidth devoted to any subject anywhere on the Net.

The WWII aviation video CDs & Amazon.com books I sell help cover the cost of the many gigabytes of bandwidth my site chews up every month along with hundreds of megs of server space. If I hadn't started selling the CDs last December, I would have had to shut down. Now, for the first time in a long time, I am breaking even and am able to expand the DriveIn's free content a little at at a time.

Regards,

zeno

Zeno, thank you, and I have been a regular visitor at your site for quite a long time now. Anyone that likes to fly the P-39 should see your two training films . . . actually get to hear what the .37 sounds like. Amazing that the fire rate and sound is so close to our FB simulated version. I don't consider you letting us know that there is more free stuff a violation of any kind here. Everyone should remember that bandwidth costs money, and helping you out by purchasing a CD is certainly no worse than Gibbage "accepting donations to make the PBY flyable" . . . and I don't have a prob with that either.

Anyone interested in sending me money to help cover the Bandwidth expended to host/showcase the movies on my site, please let me know... I don't WANT any money, but I am curious about how much you would offer...

(my guess is very little...and that is perfectly Fine!)

Zeno, you provide a great service. In you selling great CD's to differ the cost of providing the content, I support you 100%. Running a movie site and the MANY GIGS it eats up a month is not low cost. S!
