With the midnight release only hours away, I was wondering how long after the release will we have to wait before the DLC hits the 360. I know this questions a bit pre-mature but curiousity killed the cat.

At present there is no news of any DLC.

No news is great news, don't wanna get just halfway through the storyline only to find out a piece of the puzzle is missing.

Actually, there are two upcoming DLCs (probably very soon, I suppose that they will even be included in the PC version), however they are only for multiplayer but add trophies nonetheless. One of them contains four new characters (the Corsair, the Privateer, the Brigand and the Gladiator), the other one contains five maps, three of them being new ones (Jerusalem [YES! Finally something from Assassin's Creed], Dyers, Imperial District, Siena, San Donato, Florence). Apparently all maps except for Alhambra, Monteriggioni, Forlì and Pienza are returning as far as I can see (which is a shame in case of Pienza, loved that map. Also, I'd like to free-roam Alhambra in the training-ground-mode, even though I did not particularly like the gamneplay on it, the design was quite impressive).

This has been posted before, but if the way out of the Animus is for Desmond to see everything that his ancestor have left to show them, it'll be tough for them to do single-player DLC without violating that statement. At least with Ezio. If there's an add-on sequeunce, then Ezio wouldn't have shown Desmond all there is to see.

In theory, they could do something for Ezio or Altair, using another mechanism outside the Animus.

As for Multiplayer, I think Masayf as multiplayer map would be very cool.

There was an interview with Patrick Plourde that I saw over the weekend that mentioned the topic of Revelations DLC, and here's what he had to say:

When I asked about any DLC for Revelations, nothing has been announced yet, but we can expect big news in the near future. Plourde qualified it as “weird and assassinish, but not in an assassin’s creed kind of way”. It’s really intriguing and we will keep an eye on it.
