What was the first plane to incorporate an ejection seat, was a 2 manned plane, had the first tricycle landing gear to achieve operational status with the Luftwaffe, was built in response to the RAF mosquitoes, and claimed over 20 downed aircraft (including 6 mosquitoes) in its first six sorties? ... that was a looong sentence... Can anyone guess what it is?

ok, a little harder this time... hopefully. This plane was obsolete at the start of the war but accepted by the Luft. although the he111 was preferred over this particular plane. Its main role was reconnaissance. Name that plane!

ok this has to stump somebody... I'll wager a free six o'clock kill flyin in a pink plane that no one can get this one that quick... here it goes...

this plane was built as a commercial transport in 1926, was used from start to beggining of the war, could use a multitude of engines, and could hold up to 6 passengers... guess that plane!

I could be wrong, but I don't think the He-219 was built in response to the Mosquito. I think that was the Focke-Wulf Ta-154 (the Germans even called it "Moskito"). The He-219 was just a design that was around at the right time - and was ignored by the Luftwaffe leadership despite excellent reports from the people flying it.

i could be wrong by anymeans, I just read that from a book on axis aircraft. Like I said, from what I read, I believe it had to have been an outstanding plane exceptionally suited for its role as a night fighter/heavy fighter. What can I say... it intrigued me.

I love the He-219 too. I wish we had it. I wish we had a flyable Fieseler Storch and Ju-52/3m too! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif

TA-154 Built by Kurt Tank. Also called the Moskito, or something like that.
